Hi and welcome to my website!

I am sure there is something going on that brings you here today. As long as we have a life, it will always have it’s own challenges.

Issues can range from minor everyday stressors, to conflict with your partner / colleague/ employer, or strained relationship, trauma, depression, anxiety, grief and much more, all of which contributes towards lack of psychological wellness. I do understand that coping with this isn’t easy and the struggle is compounded by associated stigma and myths about mental health.

I assure you this is a safe space for you, with privacy and confidentiality being my core mandates. I provide services from anti-racism and anti-oppression framework. My experience has made me well infromed of the struggles of immigration, racism, trauma, abuse, cultural isolation, and significance of cultural competence. In light of above stated, I work with holistic model of healing.

I am a registered Psychotherapist (RP), and Founding Director of Talk Heals Psychotherapy, Canada. I am registered with the College Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).

In addition, I am also a  member in good standing with the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP).

Hi, I am a Shruti Chauhan, I’m RP (Q) . I am compassionate and client-centered mental health professional dedicated to supporting individuals through life’s challenges with empathy, respect, and authenticity. I work with individuals who are navigating the messiness of being human: trauma that lingers, anxiety that won’t quiet down, relationships that feel out of sync, or simply a sense of being stuck.

My approach is collaborative, grounded in proven methods, but always adapted to who you are and what you need. Together, we’ll slow things down, get curious, and build clarity and resilience one step at a time!
